New Zealand is a founding member of the UFA (1997) and a member of the FATF. New Zealand holds the current UFA Co-Chair, commencing in July 2014 for a period of two years. It has a developed anti-money laundering and combating the financing of terrorism system.
New Zealand underwent a second joint UFA/FATF Mutual Evaluation as part of the UFA's 2nd round of evaluations in April 2009. The report was adopted by the FATF Plenary in October 2009 and by the UFA Plenary in July 2010. The report is available at the Documents section of this website.
