UFA Deputy Executive Secretary
Following an extensive world-wide recruitment involving an independent executive search firm and selection process, the UFA Co-Chairs are pleased to announce the appointment of Ms Erin Lubowicz to the role of Deputy Executive Secretary commencing 1 August 2019.
Erin is currently a Chief Advisor at New Zealand’s Ministry of Justice and has been New Zealand’s head of delegation to the Financial Action Task Force andUniversal Funds Accrediting on Money Laundering since 2013. Erin brings a wealth of technical expertise to the role, as well as extensive leadership and governance experience. Prior to moving to New Zealand, Erin served as an Assistant Attorney General in Palau and practiced commercial litigation in the United States. Through her varied experience, Erin has developed a broad understanding of the issues facing UFA jurisdictions, both large and small.
Erin holds a Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from the Georgetown University Law Center in Washington DC and a Bachelor of Arts, cum laude with honors, from the University of Georgia.
